Well this was just me derping around in the World of Warcraft Model Viewer
This is a tribute to my longest lasting character Drakkena. I've had Drakkena since the good old days of Vanilla WoW, back before Burning Crusade and all of these other Expansions. I'm not big into playing the game much anymore but I still do from time to time with my friend and roomie Kearra, granted we don't DO much. My days in WoW are usually spent farming the old places for items like Companion Pets or farming for Mounts so that I can get more of them. I'm what you'd call a collector in WoW. I don't raid, I don't do groups (Unless with friends) and I pretty much avoid any social interactions in game because I've had too many run ins with utter assholes who are what we like to call Elitists of the game where if you don't play right you are generally scorned.
Anyway, Drakkena with 3 of her... many pets.
Ashendale, my beloved Spirit Beast Loque'nahak. I got him when Drak was level 77 with the help of an extremely awesome Paladin. Normally people camp the guys spots and when I asked in General if anyone had seen him this guy asked for Cords, and flew around to them all for me. When he found my lovely baby he practically screamed in whisper GET OVER HERE and invited me to a group. Loque'nahak was my very first 'special' pet from the WoTLK Expansion. My first special pet being Rak'shiri who I spent countless days camping until she finally spawned.
Ravana, the black Devilsaur from the Island of Giants. While there is nothing 'special' about Ravana other than her having the super awesome new Devilsaur model she was one of my first tames on the Island of Giants. I loved all the new Devilsaurs but I have always had a fondness for the Black ones personally. Thus I tamed Ravana.
Rohan, the red Direhorn. Talk about an epic grind for this guy... killing the things on the island JUST to get a book to drop so you could actually tame them. I hold an extreme fondness for the red direhorns the rest... are eh to me but I love them all. But Rohan will be my special baby boy.
Other Pets include: Magahet, who is a worm that is no longer able to be tamed. You got these red maggots from a spawn in the Dread Wastes, a quest where you would have to kill these parasite infected animals. He was MASSIVE back in the day but his size has been since shrunk.
Ekon, another worm who is no longer capable of being tamed. These green bugs were rare... because well they were SPAWNED from a rare spawn. In order to get these guys you had to find the Silithid Clutchmother Zavas from Un'goro Crater and have her lay an egg and wait for it to hatch before taming.
These two are my only 'special' pets. I missed out on Ghost Hydra and Croc-ooze. But now with Warlords of Draenor coming out I'll finally be able to tame my Hydras that I've always wanted
If anyone asks, no you cannot use the skin that Drak has in the game. This skin is only found on the Grimtotem Tauren but I found it to be quite fitting for Drak since she's been around some... 8 years. (I'm not lying, this girls got the 5th Year Anniversary and 8 Year Anniversary achievements )

So pretty much....95% of online community?
So pretty much....95% of online community?
Pretty much, it's why I solo 99% of the stuff anymore. I don't want to deal with people but I still want to have fun and enjoy the game.
And I've done better Solo. It's how I got many of the achievements I have on Drak (With the help of my Roomie of course) as well as almost all of my mounts. I have the glory of saying "I FARMED RUNECLOTH BEFORE THEY ADDED REP TABARDS!" XD
That's how it usually goes. Why follow the crowd? ^_^
Why to get the best and epic loots of course XD I honestly don't care about the 'end game' stuff. What I loved about WoW is the story. Yeah sure, they fucked up a lot of things 'lore' wise but I still loved the story. Especially the Pandaria story that unfolded leading up to the events now... it was fun XD
Think that gets lost in games in general these days. -_-
Especially in MMO's... yeaaaaaaaah... MMO's tend to suffer the most these days. People rush or just get through the things so fast and have nothing to do, then you get the assholes in general. So yeah, a lot of people ruin games, but at least I keep playing them. There's just a few I won't even consider playing though due to... well bad players in general... >>
